The Literacy Cycle
Pipalyatjara School has adopted the Literacy Cycle developed by Sydney based consultant, Dr Ann Morrice. It has proved to be particularly suited to Anangu learning styles.

Enterprise and Vocational Education
Enterprise and Vocational Education is embedded in the SACSA Framework and taught from R-12. Pipalyatjara School seeks to explore options that will lead to employment for our students in this community. This may mean helping to create local opportunities and visions for the future.

Health Issues
Addressing health issues is vital for the development of successful learning outcomes for Anangu students. Of particular concern is Otitis Media, Trachoma and Foetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Anangu Tertiary Education Program - AnTEP
AnTEP provides training for Anangu Education Workers (AEWs) at Pipalyatjara Anangu School. This is part of a wider program run through the University of South Australia.

Secondary Education on the Lands
Secondary education options for students in remote Aboriginal communities.
This paper presented by Dr Di Russell describes the development of Secondary Education on the Pitjantjatjara Lands including Pipalyatjara Anangu School.

Reflections on Leading a Desert School
Reflections on the development of education at Pipalyatjara Anangu School from 1996 - 1999 contrasted with the issues raised by Neville Green in his book, Desert School (Warburton Ranges School in 1966).

A Pitjantjatjara Vocabulary
Web pages of words and phrases with some sound files developed to assist a Pitjantjatjara language learner. Development of this resource is still current. Presented as is.
